Weekly update

Hello to all the residents of Belmont ward,

Things have been relatively quiet from a policing point of view this week. Fortunately we haven't had any burglaries or thefts of motor vehicles. We have had one theft from a motor vehicle on Brighton Road, parked on the victims driveway. There wasn't much of value taken, though this is obviously still upsetting for the victim. Just to remind people, don't leave anything on view within your vehicle, either put it in the boot or take it indoors with you. Check your vehicle when you leave it to make sure it is locked and secure. If you do have any good quality CCTV footage showing the faces of suspects involved in this type of crime, then please do let us know through Met Engage, The Met Police website, or dial 101.

PCSO Walker was out patrolling around the ward today by bike covering 12.5 miles, giving a visible presence and speaking to local residents. 

We wish you all a very happy bank holiday weekend, the weather forecast could be better, but lets get out and enjoy what Sutton has to offer.
