You said, we did: joint operation tackles anti-social behaviour across Berkshire East |

Dear Resident, Day two of a coordinated operation was carried out on Wednesday (29/4) across Berkshire East to address anti-social behaviour, which remains a serious issue that can have a significant impact. The operation brought together specialist resources including the mounted section, drones, frontline teams and neighbourhood policing officers. This collaborative approach ensured a strong and highly visible presence across key locations. As part of the activity: This proactive and intelligence-led approach ensured that resources were directed where they were needed most, helping to tackle ASB and associated criminality effectively. Chief Inspector Stewart Codling said: “This operation was a strong example of teams working together to deliver targeted, intelligence‑led policing. “By combining neighbourhood officers, frontline response and specialist resources, we were able to focus on the areas and behaviours causing the greatest harm, while also identifying safeguarding opportunities. “The arrests, proactive checks and disruption achieved on the day reflect the commitment of our officers and staff to tackling anti‑social behaviour and keeping our communities safe.” And the work doesn’t end here, this operation forms part of ongoing work to respond to community concerns, reduce crime, and improve public confidence. If you experience or witness antisocial behaviour, report it via our website. Remember, if there is an emergency or someone is in danger, always call 999.
