The Greenway, Ripley

We have been on the Greenway this morning and spoken to lots of walkers regarding the issues they have in the area, in particular, drug dealing/use on the Greenway.

One of our neighbourhood priorities for Ripley is to tackle drug related activity in the town centre and also off-road bikes on the Greenway.

Whilst we have been speaking with lots of people today and building on our community intelligence, we want to reassure you that we will continue to maintain a visible presence along the Greenway.

This is a beautiful, clean and tidy open space for everyone to enjoy and we want to keep it that way.

Amongst dealing with incidents, we have also been reviewing CCTV for incidents of anti-social behaviour and continuing with our investigations.

Part of tackling long-term issues in the area involves working with our partner agencies and we have done some work recently alongside Future's Housing and Nottingham Community Housing Association in order to tackle incidents of ASB.
