Stepping up our hate crime patrols in Camden |
Antisemitism, hatred and violence have no place in our city. Following recent attacks on the Jewish community, the Met has stepped up activity across the capital, including strengthening our proactive and protective approach in Camden.
There will be increased policing presence in key areas of Camden using both marked and covert policing to ensure that we have the best opportunity to deter offending, intervene early and arrest offenders.
Superintendent Matt Cox, the Community Policing lead for Camden said “At a time where we see so much global uncertainty, it is essential now, more than ever, that communities come together to call out and end out all forms of hate crime. Hate crime cannot and will not be tolerated and we remain committed to keeping all communities in Camden safe by taking a strong stance against this scourge on communities"
