RETAIL THEFT "REMOVE SURPLUS STOCK BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES"
Storing surplus stock on the shop floor attracts thieves, blocks camera views and prevents staff from observing offenders. Review your CCTV system to make sure that all vulnerable areas are covered and make sure that clear lines of sight can be achieved. Keep surplus stock in a secure area away from the shop floor and never display desirable items close to access points.
"Thieves love items which are concealable, removable, available, valuable, enjoyable and disposable"
