Here is your quick round up from me and the rest of the Holbrooks neighbourhood policing team.
 
What’s been happening?

On Tuesday officers from the team joined parking enforcement officers from Coventry City Council to conduct a joint parking enforcement operation on Parkgate Road with the aim of addressing parking issues outside of the school at the location. We have a large number of schools on our patch however we have received a high number of complaints about parent parking on crossings and zigzag lines. As part of the attendance a number of parking tickets were issued to vehicles found to be parked in an illegal manner. 

Also, on Tuesday one of our officers arrested a male for possession of an offensive weapon and bladed article. 

On Wednesday officers from the Neighbourhood Priority Crime Team have come across a stolen vehicle whilst on patrol. Three persons were present with the vehicle. One was arrested behind the wheel of the car whilst the other two have run from the location. After a short area search the other two were located and arrested. A quantity of drugs and cash were also located in the vehicle. 

On Friday the team took part in a joint operation with WMP traffic, Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), Licensing and the priority crime team along one of the busiest roads on our area to conduct a Multi-Agency Road Safety Operations (MARSO) to reduce road harm, seize illegal vehicles, and arrest offenders. Led by the Road Harm Prevention Team, these frequent operations involve partners like the DVSA and councils to target dangerous driving, uninsured vehicles, and defective equipment across the region. As a result of the operation 35 vehicles were pulled over and checked. A number of tickets were issued and 6 vehicles were seized for different motoring offences including no insurance.

There were No reported vehicle offence in the past Nine Days on the Holbrooks Ward.
