PUBLIC SAFETY UPDATE

There is currently a significant fire in open woodland in the area of Muswell Hill / Cranmore Way.

Emergency services are on scene and working to contain the fire. Due to the size and conditions, there is a real risk of it spreading to nearby properties. As a precaution, the evacuation of some local homes is underway.

Public safety advice:

Please avoid the area to allow emergency services full access

Keep windows and doors closed if you are nearby due to smoke

Follow instructions from police, fire crews and local authorities

Do not attempt to enter evacuated areas until advised it is safe

We appreciate the cooperation of residents and will provide further updates as soon as possible.
