Vehicle Interference - EFFINGHAM ROAD BINGLEY

You are receiving this alert because you live in the vicinity of a Vehicle Interference on Effingham Road, Bingley. 

The victim’s vehicle had been parked, locked, and left secure at the location. An unknown suspect or suspects have used an unknown implement to force the driver‑side door handle, gaining entry to the vehicle in an attempt to steal it. The suspects were disturbed and made off from the area without the vehicle.

If you have any information that may assist the investigation, please contact the police on 101 or speak to your local PCSO. If you have CCTV or a doorbell camera, please review footage covering the relevant time and report anything suspicious. 

This is also a timely reminder to review your own security. Many offences can be prevented with small improvements to home and vehicle security.
