Attempt theft of motor vehicle - Oulton Terrace

You are receiving this alert because you live in the vicinity of a attempt theft of motor vehicle that occurred in the Oulton Terrace 

At the time and date stated, the victim received a notification that their scooter was moving. Upon going outside, the victim saw five unknown suspects, who are strangers to the victim, attempting to steal the scooter. When challenged, the suspects ran off in an unknown direction.

If you have any information that may assist the investigation, please contact the police on 101 or speak with your local PCSO. If you have CCTV or a doorbell camera, please review any footage from the relevant time.

This incident is also a timely reminder to review your own vehicle security. Many offences can be prevented with small improvements such as secure locking, tracking devices, and parking in well‑lit areas.
