Good morning everyone, Here is your update for the Olton area and what the team have been up to in the area.
Crime Update: There was a theft from motor vehicle on Warwick Road overnight on the 19th of April whereby a Black Toyota Corolla has had the drivers side window smashed and the front bumper along with a number of component parts stolen. Offenders have fled the scene in an unidentified vehicle. Between the hours of 14:00 on the 23rd of April and 10:30 on the 24th of April there was a theft of motor vehicle on Castle Lane. Where a black Ford Fiesta has been stolen after being locked and secured outside the keepers home address. Offenders have fled in an unknown direction of travel.
Good News: The team stayed on beyond a regular tour of duty to help safeguard a very vulnerable male who had made off from officers and was in need to immediate care and support. Thanks to the great work of the team on the day he was quickly and safely located and provided the support he needed. The team have been on joint visits with Solihull Housing to a number of addresses linked to ASB and drug use. This is in an effort to tackle local issues at the root cause and reduce issues for the local residents and increase our intel picture. The team were welcome guests of the 1st Olton Scout Group where they gave a presentation to the group as well as the Beavers group and let the kids gets a change to try on some of our hats, helmets and hold a riot shield or two. Big thanks to those who kindly invited us and to all those who attended. The team seized a vehicle which has been used in crime and was obstructing residents around St. Bernards Rd. This car was seen in the area possibly drug dealing and engaging in anti-social behaviour. It is now safely under lock and key with us.
Please take care and we will be in touch again soon! | ||
