Good Evening Residents!

Local Neighbourhood team in Gower are reminding residents to be aware of scam activity in the area. Please be cautious of unexpected phone calls, text messages, emails or doorstep callers asking for money, personal items or even to try and sell you a product or item.

Some callers may use pressure tactics to push for a sale or behave in an intimidating manner

They may not hold the correct licence or permission to sell goods door-door

Remember! it is your own home and you have every right to refuse a sale and say ‘no’

Individuals often can often feel uncomfortable and pressured, it is important to note that the decision is entirely yours. Do not feel rushed into agreeing to anything on the spot and remain vigilant.

If unsure, it is beneficial to seek support for advice from family, friends, neighbours or relevant authorities.

Please report suspicious activity via 999 (emergency) or 101 (non-emergency).
