On the positive side
The team stayed on beyond a regular tour of duty to help safeguard a very vulnerable male who had made off from officers and was in need to immediate care and support. Thanks to the great work of the team on the day, he was quickly and safely located and provided the support he needed.
The team have been on joint visits with Solihull Housing to a number of addresses linked to ASB and drug use. This is in an effort to tackle local issues at the root cause and reduce issues for the residents and increase our intel picture.
The team were welcome guests of the 1st Olton Scout Group where they gave a presentation to the Cubs group as well as the Beavers group and let the kids try on some of our hats, helmets and hold a riot shield, alongside being in a police vehicle and turning the lights and sirens on. Big thanks to those who kindly invited us and to all those who attended.
We continued our targeted patrols in the area.
