Neighbourhood Policing Update – Vehicle Crime Prevention

With the warmer weather continuing, we’re seeing an increase in reports of thefts from vehicles across Swansea, particularly in busy areas such as the city centre, beachfront, and popular beauty spots.

Opportunistic offenders are taking advantage of vehicles being left insecure, especially where windows are left slightly open, doors unlocked, or valuables are left on display.

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team has been conducting targeted patrols in these areas and will continue high-visibility patrols throughout the coming days to deter this type of crime and provide reassurance.
