Partnership Patch Walk โ Belgrave Community Update
As part of ongoing partnership work to address concerns raised by local residents, neighbourhood officers recently carried out a patch walk alongside Jethro (Leicester City Council City Warden) and Andy (Highways) ๐. This joint patrol focused on identifying environmental, safety, and enforcement issues within the area and ensuring appropriate action was taken.
Issues Identified and Action Taken
During the patrol, a number of matters were identified and addressed, including:
โ Jackson Street enforcement activity continuing following complaints raised via a local Member of Parliament
๐งพ Businesses issued with legal notices relating to waste disposal responsibilities, with further enforcement action underway
๐ Breaches of Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) identified and escalated for further action
๐บ A significant number of empty alcohol containers found within communal areas, with intelligence to be submitted
๐ An abandoned and untaxed vehicle located on Harrison Road and subsequently recovered
๐ง Category 1 pavement damage identified by Highways and reported for urgent repair
