Appeal for Witnesses – Damage at Tadcaster Bus Station Toilets |
||
|
Police are appealing for witnesses following a further report of damage at the public toilets at Tadcaster Bus Station.
We are aware of comments and discussions online regarding local policing in the area. We would like to reassure residents that Tadcaster has both a dedicated Police Constable and a Police Community Support Officer, who regularly engage with local schools, businesses and, most importantly, residents of the town.
Your local policing team also holds regular community surgeries, where members of the public are warmly welcomed to meet their dedicated officers. These sessions provide an opportunity to raise concerns, ask questions, or simply find out more about the work being carried out within the community. These meetings take place in a safe and confidential space, and details of upcoming surgery dates can be found on our website.
In response to the recent incidents, Tadcaster Bus Station has now been identified as a priority area for the local policing team. Patrols will take place at varied times throughout the day, providing both a visible presence and reassurance to the community.
We continue to encourage members of the public to report anything out of the ordinary immediately, as timely information can make a real difference.
While we will be working closely with our partners to address this issue, we also rely on the continued support of residents and parents to help prevent further damage and antisocial behaviour. By working together, we can help keep shared public spaces safe and welcoming for everyone.
Anyone who has witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area or has information that may assist is urged to contact the police. | ||
