Man Charged with 12 Shoplifting offences

CHARGED | A man has been charged with 12 counts of shoplifting - some relating to incidents at stores in Malvern - and will be appearing in court.

Joshua Philpot, 30, of Bays Meadow, Droitwich, was charged with 12 counts of theft from shop today (Tuesday 28 April).

He was remanded to prison before appearing in court on Tuesday 19 May 2025.

7 of the offences occurred over the last two days in the Malvern area.  Officers from Malvern Safer neighbourhood team and form ‘A’ shift response, visited the stores and obtained CCTV and statements shortly before there was a further sighting and he was arrested.
