School patrol - parking

Good afternoon residents,

PCSO Brockett was out this morning patrolling the area around Holden Clough Primary School and St Damian's School.

Several drivers were spoken to about the way they had parked and reminded that, as competent drivers, they should not need to be told not to block pavements completely. Doing so makes them inaccessible for many people, including those with prams, wheelchairs, or mobility issues.

Parking notices were issued to vehicles causing an obstruction. If these vehicles are seen parking in this manner again, a traffic offence report will be submitted.
