Drug Use and Crime in West Hampstead.

West Hampstead Safer Neighbourhood Team are aware Living in an area where drug dealing takes place can be an unpleasant experience to all. We have been on foot patrol on shifts using the all our tools to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour. Ware currently aware of the drug issues that have been plaguing the local areas in West Hampstead.  

Drug dealing and Drug use is often linked with violent crime and the exploitation of vulnerable people, discarded drug paraphernalia can be a health risk to the community and counts as antisocial behaviour.  Your local Ward officers and with the assistance from parenting teams have been proactively seeking out this criminal activity. With positive results we are happy to report to you and the community. 

We have managed to remove several wanted people from the streets including a number of stop & searches for drug related offences.  West Hampstead SNT are focused on engaging with you the public to not only get feedback but also assistance in reporting crime, so it gets through to us.
