On Wednesday 22/04/2026 between 3pm and 3.30pm a car was entered on Elmdale Road and car documents, a charging bank and some loose change was taken.

On Sunday 26/04/2026 between 8.16am and 9.03am a 2016 Jaguar F-Pace was stolen on Ulleswater Road by smashing the window and using a relay device to read the key. The car was tracked to a road in Edmonton and police found the vehicle and it was recovered by the owner. The car key would no longer start the car though it did lock and unlock the car.

Please check your car is locked before you leave it by pulling the door handle if the car isn't keyless and by putting the key in your signal blocker pouch and then trying the door handle to make sure your car has locked.

Please purchase a faraday pouch / signal blocking pouch for both car keys if you don't already own some.

Please fit a good quality steering lock.

Please consider fitting a Ghost Immobiliser.

Please activate a manufacturer fitted tracker if your car has one.

Please also fit a third party tracker if you don't have a manufacturer fitted one.
