Patrols and updates

We have been out today on the patrol. We had reports of drug users on Denehurst, we went up and moved them on. Salah had had a meeting with the hotel staff this morning. We have given then some options, but if they continue to ignore us then we will be more forceful in our request.

We also spoke at length to the users who were there. It is a case of moving them on at the moment. 

We also tackled some street drinkers out on Styne Road, who were drinking. We asked them to move at first, but we were met with resistance by them so we dispersed them from the area for 24 hours.

I shall be back for much of the week, after what feels like a long time away. Plans are being put in place to address the concerns we all share about the town centre and surrounds.
