Good afternoon Manor Park,

This morning your local team worked alongside their colleagues at the London Borough of Newham in the first stage of clearing the garages along Forest View Road E12.

Upon arrival a group of rough sleepers were found one of whom was shown to wanted - and was promptly arrested by PC Nick Wells 2253NE.

This location has been the source of dozens of complaints from residents and frequent patrols/arrests by SNT officers.

As you can see from the photographs were were confronted by quite a chaotic scene.

Todays actions represent the first stage in a process which, we are assured, should result in the garages being demolished and the area cleared.

What it shows is that we listen to residents concerns and work effectively with our partners.
