Burglary Alert

As your local Neighbourhood Acquisitive Crime Team, we wanted to update you that on Sunday 8th March 2026 between 05:00 hours and 06:00 hours, a burglary occurred at a property on Granby Road, Fairfield, Buxton.

The occupant reported hearing someone in their kitchen and went to investigate.  The unknown offender had entered the property through the back door and was in the kitchen before being disturbed by the occupant and making good their escape.  It is not believed anything was stolen.
