Staffordshire Police road crime team to feature in new series of 5’s Motorway Cops

Officers from our road crime team are appearing in a new series of 5’s hit documentary Motorway Cops: Catching Britain’s Speeders, giving viewers a behind the scenes look at the fast paced and often challenging work carried out to keep the county’s roads safe.

Film crews spent several months exclusively with officers from the road crime team, capturing real‑time responses to incidents ranging from high‑speed pursuits and drink‑drive stops to arrests of wanted offenders and attendance at serious collisions.

The new series follow officers as they tackle criminals using the county‘s road network, respond to emergencies, and support wider policing operations across Staffordshire and beyond.

The show is on Monday at 8pm on 5 until 15 June and episodes can be streamed on 5.
