Morning everyone. Another busy week! The PCSOs were out on Manor Road yesterday talking to residents about this very platform. We spoke to lovely residents who all really love the community atmosphere of the locale. Great to hear! We also met a lovely ginger cat but heard about a naughty black and white one that has no boundaries! Strong words of advice for Mr Tiddles followed. We were off then to Morden Town Centre to help the council's ASB team who were assisting the store detectives in nabbing shoplifters. Did you know our PCs have racked up six arrests for shoplifting, six PNDs (Penalty Notice of Disorder) and a rainforest full of banning orders? It's been a busy week clearing out crime for our teams! If you're out and about and someone offers you a giant leg of lamb, it will most likely be nabbed. While it might be a ‘steal’ you've got to think that the inside of someone's jacket isn't very sanitary! And there's no refrigeration! Buying dodgy goods funds drug use so while you might get cheaper detergent, you're funding a very bad habit. We're off to assist our Wimbledon colleagues at the St. Georges Day parade in the village now, so say hi if you see us. As per normal, please spend 5 minutes to complete the below survey so my skipper cracks a smile.
Thanks in advance, and hope you don't need us! Dave and the team
