Your Safer Neighbourhood Ward Panel members have created a steering group with the aim to make Biggin Hill Dementia Friendly.

Dementia Action week runs from 18th - 24th May.

This session is free and open to all. Come and see what is available to those who are diagnosed with dementia and what help is available to them and their carers.

Your ward PCSO will be available to discuss the Herbert Protocol which is aimed at people with dementia who may sometimes become lost. The Met recommend planning ahead for if that person goes missing. The Herbert Protocol enables you to gather information on your loved ones now, to ensure that you can quickly give it to police if they go missing. 
Also we will give advice on what to do if you come across someone who appears lost or confused.
