Successful Off Road Motorcycle Operation!

Good Afternoon, 

Yesterday, local Neighbourhood Policing teams carried out a successful off road motorcycle operation in the local area. 

Working proactively to address community concerns around nuisance riding, anti-social behaviour and vehicle crime, officers were deployed to key locations. A fixed wing aircraft was also utilised as part of the operation. The aircraft provides officers with a safe and effective aerial view of the area, and enables officers to respond quickly and efficiently. 

The figures of the operation are as follows: - 

. 16x Motorcycles/ Surrons / Off-road motorcycles seized from the Swansea area with 8 being seized from Penlan Sector.

. 14x Postal charge requisitions created for several offences including dangerous driving, possession of drugs, no insurance, fail to stop etc ..

.  8x Stop Searches 

. Numerous intelligence submissions as a result of information from the day

. Several of the 16 bikes were outstanding stolen.
