Shoplifting update/catapult's seized - Paddock Wood

Dear Residents. 

Following on from the work we are doing in relation to shoplifting within the town, yesterday we ran a joint operation with security staff in one of the shops. This provided some good results. Two suspects were stopped by security staff and police and dealt with for shoplifting, another from earlier in the day has been identified, and will be soon dealt with. This brings the total number of individuals identified to 20 since starting a specific plan on this issue around a month ago. 

As well as the shoplifters being dealt with, an eagle eyed member of staff spotted something suspicious outside one of the stores. Thanks to this member of staff's vigilance two catapults, one torch and some alcohol was seized. 

This work will continue, along with all the other work we do in Paddock Wood and the surrounding areas. As always, please ensure all incidents are reported to Kent Police via:
