Today, Ashby Beat Officers 4516, 6633 and 6443 were called to a report of a motorbike rider who had come off their bike and ended up in a ditch.

The rider was wearing full protective riding gear, which played a key role in reducing their injuries. As temperatures rise, riders are reminded that protective equipment is just as important during the summer months.

This is now the second similar incident the Ashby Beat Team has attended in the last week, and we are reminding all motorbike riders to take extra care.

✅ Always wear appropriate protective gear
✅ Ride to the road and weather conditions
✅ Be extra cautious on rural and unfamiliar roads
✅ Remember that visibility and speed can quickly change
