Burglary Prevention Advice

We would like to remind residents to remain vigilant and take simple steps to protect their homes from burglary.

You can reduce the risk by:

Locking doors and windows whenever you leave home, even for short periods

Using timer switches for lights when out in the evening

Keeping valuables out of sight and away from windows

Ensuring sheds, garages, and side gates are secured

Cancelling deliveries or asking a trusted neighbour to collect them

Reporting suspicious behaviour promptly

If you are going away, consider asking a neighbour to keep an eye on your property or use a house‑sitting arrangement.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously or believe a crime is in progress, please report it immediately. For non‑urgent concerns or to share information, you can contact us via the usual channels.
