Community Update

Due to recent events in the area, we regret to advise that the planned Bike Registry event has been cancelled.

Following after‑school related incidents, patrols in the area have been increased, with officers tasked to remain highly visible to provide reassurance and maintain community safety. Our priority is the safety of everyone, particularly with PLOT 10 Park becoming a more active space for young children and families.

In order to ensure a strong and visible police presence at this time, we were unable to proceed with the event. Safeguarding remains our primary concern, and we believe this deployment best supports the community’s needs at present.

Apologies for not providing an earlier update. We were informed on the day of the event that resources needed to be redirected due to emerging issues in the area, which regrettably led to the cancellation.

I will be planning another Bike Registry event and will ensure that a confirmation message is shared the day before to confirm whether the event is going ahead.
