#APPEAL | We are appealing for information after a boy had his mountain bike stolen by balaclava clad offenders on a motorcycle.
On Thursday 23rd April at around 8.20pm the 15-year-old victim was stopped on the A5 footbridge between Deltic BMX track and Belgrave lakes. The offenders were on a red motorcycle and the pillion passenger demanded the victim give them their bike. They have pushed the victim and forcibly taken the bicycle which they have then carried on the back of the motorcycle which rode off in the direction of Shannon.
The person who took the bike is described as a male around 5ft 11", wearing a full black tracksuit, black balaclava and black motorcycle helmet.
The stolen bike is a Nukeproof Mega 275c RS 2019 mountain bike (pictured)
Officers attended and completed an area search but unfortunately the offenders had made good their escape.
