High Performance Vehicles Being Stolen.

There has been an increase in cars being stolen in the Greater Manchester  area, a reminder for vehicle owners to be vigilant. 

Thieves will target high performance and desirable vehicles, entering property to locate keys, or using technology to open keyless vehicles by re-routing the signal from the key inside the property.

Perpetrators of this type of acquisitive crime often target specific vehicles, based on demand and value. The most common method is to drive around residential areas looking for opportunities with certain types of vehicle.

Remember to lock your car and house doors, even if your home. Remove any valuables (including garage door fobs) from vehicles. 

If you have a door connecting the garage to the house, make sure it has the same level of security as your external doors.
