We just wanted to make you aware of the results of the facial recognition van deployment on the 14th April. There were 5 people arrested:- 3 were wanted on a recall to prison 1 was wanted for shoplifting and a breach of court order 1 was wanted for criminal damage. 2 persons were stopped who were subject to court orders and their conditions checked to make sure they are adhering. Other results over the past week: Arrested a male in Hounslow West who was wanted for failing to appear for sexual offences at Isleworth Crown Court.Arrested a male in Tyron Apartments Carpark on Balfour Road who was wanted for failing to appear for theft from shop and also had Class A drugs on him. Stopped and searched a male in Inwood Park who was found in possession of cannabis and is being charged to court.Stopped and searched a male on Myrtle Road who was found in possession of cannabis and dealt with by way of an out of court disposal.Stopped and searched a male on Kingsley Road who was found in possession of a stolen bike which was stolen in January in Hounslow High Street and was reunited with the victim.Conducted a Met Volunteer deployment around the ward.
