Sad News

A sad update to bring you.

A man’s body which was discovered on open land near Easingwold on Friday (17 April 2026) has now been formally identified as Robert Rees-Hughes. Robert was reported missing on Saturday 29 November 2025, and extensive searches were carried out in the weeks that followed.

Robert’s family have been informed, and our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.
