Parking - Manchester Road

Good afternoon,

We would like to remind residents of their responsibility as a driver when parking.

Manchester Road is having a continuous issue with vehicles being parked in an illegal manner, specifically too close to a junction.

The parking we witnessed today is dangerous. Manchester Road is a particularly fast and busy road. Parking right up to a junction causes vehicles trying to join Manchester Road having to pull right out in to the carriageway in order to see oncoming vehicles. 

Vehicles parked in this manner have been ticketed, and will continue to be ticketed.
