Local Priorities Cycle Theft Concern

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding cycle theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

A group of youths have been reported to be moving around the area and stealing bikes. The group were seen targeting unattended bikes and leaving the location shortly after stealing them, causing concern among local residents.

The behaviour was identified as ongoing and impacting community confidence, with residents expressing worry about repeat offending and damage or loss of property. The incident details were noted for intelligence purposes and to support further patrols and preventative action in the area.
