Police investigate burglary and vehicle interference in Sarisbury Green |
||
|
We are investigating a series of incidents which occurred in Sarisbury Green, and urge local residents to be alert and to keep their properties and cars secure.
In the early hours of this morning (23 April) a man reportedly pulled on the door handle of a house in Winnards Park.
The man was also seen trying car door handles nearby but was chased off by a member of the public.
Police attended the area and during enquiries located some tools in a bush, which were confirmed as stolen from a shed in Barnes Lane.
These offences occurred whilst homeowners were at home.
Officers continue to investigate these incidents and are asking anyone with information, or who has noticed suspicious activity in their neighbourhood, to call police.
In particular we are looking to identify the man pictured, or speak with anyone who has seen him in the area or has captured his movements on CCTV, Dash Cam or doorbell camera.
He is described as wearing a balaclava, black trainers, tracksuit bottoms, a puffer-style coat, and a distinctive back pack with reflectors on it.
