Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

On Saturday, local officers attended Sutton Football Ground to promote awareness of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), with a particular focus on stalking and harassment, in support of National Stalking Awareness Week. Officers engaged with members of the public, providing reassurance and information on reporting and support options.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years.
