Vehicle Interference - Clayton and surrounding

🚨 Community Alert – Vehicle Interference 🚨

We have received a few reports of vehicle interference in the Bradford West area especially in Clayton and surrounding areas . Some incidents have been captured on Ring doorbell cameras and CCTV, showing suspects trying vehicle doors and checking for unsecured cars.

Please help protect your vehicle by:

✅ Always locking your car, even if parking for a short time

✅ Removing all valuables from sight (including loose change, bags, cables, coats, and toolboxes)

✅ Double‑checking doors, windows, and boot are secure

✅ Parking in a well‑lit area where possible

✅ Using steering wheel locks or additional security if available

We also ask residents to:

📹 Check CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage for any suspicious activity

👀 Be alert to anyone going onto driveways or trying vehicle doors

📞 Report suspicious behaviour to West Yorkshire Police on 101 (or 999 if a crime is in progress)
