Kenton East Ward Panel Update – Working Together for Our Community |
||
|
Dear Resident,
Last week, your local Kenton East Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) attended a ward panel meeting at SKSST Temple to talk with residents and community members about local issues and priorities. We were joined by three councillors, local panel members, and representatives from Harrow Council, including the Deputy Head of Community Safety, Mark SPENCER and Alfie KERRIGAN, Team Leader Public Protection Officer.
A ward panel is a group of local residents, community representatives and stakeholders who meet regularly with local police to share concerns, set priorities, and help shape how we tackle issues in the area. it’s important because it keeps policing focused on what matters most to you.
At the meeting, we shared recent crime Statistics and what we’ve been doing to address the previous priorities. This included increased patrols in key areas, targeted work around dangerous driving on repeat problem locations, and working closely with partner agencies to deal with ongoing concerns.
Following discussion with the panel, new ward priorities have now been agreed:
Violence against women and girls Burglary and vehicle crime Anti-social behaviour, drug-related activity, and dangerous driving
We’ll be focusing our efforts on these areas over the coming months and will continue to keep you updated on progress.
If you’d like to join the ward panel and genuinely want to get involved in improving your local area, we’d really like to hear from you. You can reply to this email or contact us at: Kentoneast.snt@met.police.uk
