Hello everyone! Here are some quick updates about some things that we have done since our last message. With summer coming up and lighter nights beginning, we are tackling the ongoing ASB that is prevalent in the Sandwell area. We have been patrolling around Aviary Court where there are investigations open regarding criminal damage and we have some key suspects identified. We have conducted some arrests and voluntary interviews regarding the ongoing ASB and criminal damage on the West Midlands bus routes We have visited schools in Hateley Heath where we have implemented a junior PCSO scheme where the children are learning about what the Police do and being a good citizen. We have visited Great Barr food bank and liased with the volunteers who continue to support our community! Bike patrols through Sandwell valley have also been implemented as the hot weather begins… this is to tackle the off-road bike issue that becomes especially prevalent in summertime. The Designated Neighbourhood Officer for Great Barr is investigating ongoing vehicle theft at The Holiday Inn! The Neighbourhood Team hope you have an amazing rest of the week and keep safe!
