Neighbourhood Policing Update – Over Hulton & Middle Hulton

Over the past three days, your Over Hulton and Middle Hulton Neighbourhood Policing Team has been actively patrolling the local area as part of ongoing efforts to keep the community safe.

These patrols have resulted in two vehicles being seized after the drivers were found to have no valid insurance. One of the drivers was also drug tested and returned a positive result for cannabis. Further checks revealed that he was driving with a revoked licence. He was arrested, and a blood sample was taken to obtain a more accurate reading.

During this period, officers also carried out over 15 stop searches under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. Two searches were positive, with cannabis being found. Those individuals were dealt with through community resolutions.
