Alert: Screws placed in roads in Deer Park, Witney

⚠️ Ralegh Crescent / Donnington Close area

We are aware of reports of screws being deliberately placed in the road near the Donnington Close junction on Ralegh Crescent, Witney. This appears to be an attempt to prevent vehicles from parking in the area.

👮‍♂️ PCSOs Hawkins and Richardson have conducted a letter drop to nearby addresses to raise awareness and gather information.

🛑 This behaviour is extremely dangerous and poses a serious risk to:

🚗 Motorists – punctured tyres, loss of control

🚴 Cyclists – risk of falls and serious injury

🚶 Pedestrians – potential for harm if vehicles are affected

Any object deliberately placed in the road could lead to a road traffic collision or serious injury.
