UPDATED: Appeal for specific witness to attempted knifepoint robbery |
||
|
Hello Resident, Did you see an attempted e-bike robbery on Pell Street near Elgar Road at around 11.30pm on Saturday 4 April? We appreciate this was more than two weeks ago, but a male witness can be seen on CCTV so we are appealing for him, and any other witnesses or people with information, to come forward. The victim was threatened with a knife by the two offenders but fortunately he only suffered minor injuries and nothing was stolen. One of the offenders is described as Arabian, between 5ft 8-10ins tall, of slim build, with short dark hair, wearing a black tracksuit with the hood up. The other offender is described as Arabian, around 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, with short hair and a brown moustache, wearing an olive top under a blue, zipped up puffer jacket and black trousers. No ages have been provided for either offender, and I have updated the descriptions with their ethnicities. Sorry for sending the previous alert without those details in error. The specific witness or anyone with information should call 101, make a report on our website or visit a police station, quoting reference number 43260164286. Anyone who wishes to provide information anonymously can do so through independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website. We will not tolerate robberies or knife crime generally as it puts people at serious risk so we are committed to bringing the offenders to justice. Kind regards, | ||
