Oldham Neighbourhood Officer's attend PSHE Day at Alexandra Park Junior School

On 17/04/2026, Neighbourhood officer PC Pollard and PCSO's Bigland and Ibrahim, attended Alexandra Park School in Glodwick, Oldham where they took part in a careers day and hosted an assembly on anti-social behaviour.

During the visit children, parents and teachers asked a range of questions about policing leading into an open ended question and answer session. This created a safe space for both children and parents alike to ask questions about policing, anti social behaviour and careers in policing.

PC Pollard spoke to children in various classrooms about their career aspirations and how the risks of engaging in anti-social behaviour could change the course of their future. Following this, PC pollard then explained each piece of his equipment to the children and placing handcuffs on a volunteer before taking classes one by one to see how our police CCTV van works.

We look forward to attending Alexandra Park School again in the future to further develop our relationship with the school and its respective community.
