Removal of Large Vehicle

I wanted to provide an update on the ongoing work taking place on Lombard Street. Over the last few months, local police officers have been working closely with multi‑agency partners, including the DVLA and Sevenoaks District Council, to make improvements for residents in and around Horton Kirby.

Last month, we successfully removed multiple untaxed vehicles from Lombard Street. This work continued today with the removal of a large lorry that had been abandoned. The vehicle had been parked on the public road for an extended period and was having a negative impact on the local community. Due to its size, the removal required specialist equipment, significant coordination with the DVLA, and approval due to the associated costs.
