#ARREST | Following warrants executed on 09/04/26, four men aged in their 20s have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder following an incident in #Heywood on Sunday (05/04/26).
Two of the men have additionally been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs
These arrests come after reports of a disturbance with vehicles and potential weapons on Sunday evening. Both vehicles left the scene before later being found abandoned.
Detective Superintendent Richard Hunt of Rochdale Police said: "This was a shocking incident involving vehicles and weapons, which put members of the public at risk. Let me be absolutely clear, this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated in Rochdale or in the community of Heywood.
