Local updates - Merton Park |

Afternoon all, Hope you're all well and haven't needed us! I thought I would update you on a couple of interesting incidents that we've recently dealt with, that we thought you might like to know about.
The abusive male. Whilst on patrol, a few of our team heard over the radio a call for assistance. It was from Sutton officers who had ventured to Morden to find a High Risk Missing person (found safe and well don't worry). They'd been flagged down by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) who had been caught up with a male who had not only his skinfull but a few other people's as well. Taking over the chat with said sloshed male, our team found out that he'd been swearing about town and ended up pushing another member of the public. This is of course, not on. He was chatting away until he realised that he was going to get arrested and then the air got incredible blue. Our team took earfuls of abuse from the male until he was whisked away to a cell. The unwell male. While all this was going on, one of our plucky PCSOs noticed a male slumped on the floor. Thinking he was with the abusive one, we thought to check and make sure we had the right inebriated male. Maybe they'd ventured to sunny Morden together? Maybe not. Upon checking, he mentioned that he was feeling unwell, so the London Ambulance crew (LAS) that was originally called for male one, got involved with male two. Never a dull day. He was ok, just, we think, also a bit sozzled. The unlucky male. Our sister team from Mitcham spent some time in Morden stopping vehicles for speeding and other offences and stumbled across one male that needed to be custody bound. The investigation is ongoing into that one, so more when I can reveal all! (Nothing for you all to be worried about though).
As always, I'd appreciate if you could fill in the below survey, as all the data is snuffled over by our eager number crunchers. (It also helps us target where you want us!)
Thanks in advance and hope you don't need us! (But please do call if you do).
Dave and the team.
