Officers in Hatfield are appealing for help to reunite a number of tools with their rightful owners, following a significant recovery in the town. A large quantity of power tools and other equipment was recovered from an address in Hatfield following an arrest in February. Investigating Officer PC James Holt-Whittall said: “We believe the recovered tools are highly likely to be stolen, potentially from one or two commercial vans, during incidents believed to have taken place in 2025. “A large number of additional electronic items were also recovered from the address, many of which have already been confirmed as stolen from vehicles in North London and Hertfordshire border areas. However, we have so far been unable to identify the owners of the pictured tools.” A 32 year old man from Hatfield was arrested on suspicion of multiple offences, including: Anyone who believes the recovered tools may be theirs (you will be required to produce some form of proof of ownership), or who has information which may help the investigation, is asked to come forward.
