Bike Safe Lincolnshire

BikeSafe Lincolnshire 

BikeSafe is delivered by serving operational officers from the Force's Motorbike team and highly skilled volunteers from IAM RoadSmart and RoSPA.  They bring a wealth of experience, including operational policing, collision investigation, advanced riding and VIP escorting. 

The BikeSafe team were delighted to train several motorcyclists recently from RAF Coningsby; they took part in the BikeSafe event on Thursday 9 April.  The event, arranged by the RAF, followed the usual training which is also open to members of the public. 

PC Jared Thorp, Roads Policing for Lincolnshire Police, said: "BikeSafe is a fantastic opportunity for people to refresh their skills and to learn new ones.  The feedback we get, from even the most sceptical, is that the training is invaluable. 

"A warm welcome awaits and as a team we will build on the skills and experience bikers already have."
